Visual voicemail and youtube help

I have att, but for some reason youtube and visual voicemail features don't work. I've been told I must sign up for iphone data plan, but that would require me to extend my plan another 2 years, which i don't want to do. Does anyone know a work around for this?

Get the data plan, thats all. There are other ways, but if your not willing to extend you contract you wont be will to do whats needed.
