Stuck in Recovery mode after ibrickr

so i was trying to unlock the 2g iphone for a friend. I messed it up with Ziphone and it got stuck in recovery mode, ibrickr was able to reboot it into normal mode but only when it wasnt connected to itunes.

I think the firmware was 1.1.1 so i tried rolling it back to 1.0.2 with ibrickr. That failed and I am left with the yellow triangle on the iphone, when i try to reboot it with ibrickr i just get a red screen and when i try to restore the iphone with itunes i just get an error (1601).

any ideas, i wouldnt mind so much only that its not my iphone!!

Oh, Man. 1.1.1 or 1.0.2 are VERY OLD version of firmware. You can upgrade to 2.2 firmware without any problem. Go check the tutorial and follow the instructions.
