iPhone to TV - display more then movies?

Anyone know if there is a way to use all apps on an external monitor? I have an 5 inch lcd on my dashboard and was hoping to use it with google apps.

I am able to hook up the iphone successfully to the tv, but only movies will work. Was hoping to be able to get it to to work with all apps if possible.

Sounds like it's not fully supported yet but may be soon...

Not sure if this is supported commercially, although in Steve Jobs' keynote speech to introduce the iphone, he showed all the iphone functionality through a larger screen for the audience to see, so it is possible with the iphone.
