Winterboard isnt working for me...? Help 3G with 2.2

Well the title says it all

i have a 3G Iphone with 2.2 firmware, when i load winterboard all i get is a blank white screen with lines .. first time ive installed it too, i re-installed it, still never worked, removed it, installed again still didnt work.

Compatibility issue?

Help please:(

i have iphone 3g on 2.2. winterboard is doing fine. maybe you need to reset or restore your iphone..

My winterboard is not working since I updated to the 2.2 firmware. Did you ever find a solution?

try uninstalling winterboard from cydia. reboot your iphone then try installing winterboard again from cydia. then once again,reboot your iphone & run winterboard.

tried what u said ping_eleven, but still all i have is a blank white screen with lines. WTF, and i dont feel like restoring my iphone just for winterboard! ahh, annoying.

I wonder why apps dont work with some iphone then some would work on other iphones. maybe its the way we jailbroked it, i dont know really. anyways,always reboot your iphone after installing an app.

if your keypad is not working, is it because of your winterboard? try unchecking all entries in your winterboard then try your keypad. if still not working,try resetting ur homescreen layout or keyboard dictionary in settings under general tab. this worked for me before. but if keypad worked after unchecking all winterboard entries,the problem is winterboard. you need to uninstall & install winterboard again.

if winterboard does not function after few uninstalls & installs,reboots & resprings,etc...then maybe its not compatible. like i said,maybe its because of the way we jailbreak. there's no other reason really since all iphones were made the same ryt? restoring sucks but if you really, really want to customize your iphone,restoring & installing winterboard is worth it. remember to back up before restoring.
