Unknown Error Occured (1600)

That is what I get when I try to restore with the custom restore file created by PwnageTool. I am trying to unlock the iPhone for the first time. Anyone have a clue why I am getting that error code? I have version 2.2, am using all the correct files according to http://www.hackthatphone.com. At a loss here.

So I tried updating as if the phone had version 2.1 on it and that worked perfectly. In my defense, dialing the code in emergency mode didn't bring up the info like Hackthephone.com says, but that site rocks. Unlocked for free and by a Dork!

Is it safe for me to try and restore now to 2.2 and then unlock it again or should I just be happy with 2.1?

It happened to me twice. What I did to solve the prob is to cancel all applications from the cydia application list - I will install them again directly from the iphone. Without any application other than cydia and installer it worked ok
