I would be in London in few days time and I am planning to buy Iphone 3G (8GB) in PAY & GO deal from one of O2 stores. I would be eventually using Iphone outside UK and would use Turbo SIM with the same so my question is it necessary to unlock/activate the phone first by using O2 SIM by connecting it with the iTunes or not?
Since the phone price is 350Pounds plus 10 pounds for top-up O2 Sim balance so if I do not insert the O2 Sim even once and straight away use the turbo sim and pawnge tool would this work? In otherswords, can Iphone be jail breaked and used with turbo SIM if it isn't activated with O2 SIM?
