hey everyone, please be patient with me b/c i am more then a few levels below you guys on the food chain when it comes to this stuff….
i just got my 3g iphone last week and updated to 2.2 bc i didnt know any better. i am more then happy with at&t and have no interest in unlocking the phone, but i do wish to jaibreak it.is it possible to do one without doing the other? and lastly does itunes stil funtcion as normal for music and what not if i jailbreak it?

first off since you updated to 2.2 there is nothing you can do now if you want un lock in the future..
you see if you had of stayed at 2,1 and jailbreaked the iphone you would of had an easy unlock soon enough but like you said you dont want an unlock so ..
1 no jailbreaking dos not do anything to itunes ,..
2 you can jailbreak the 2.2..
3 i take no responsaiblility when you do it ..
4 anyhow if the shit hits the fan you can always restore through itunes ok ..
5 enloy the way the iphone should be by jailbreaking ..

shit, the more i get into this the more questions i have
do i create this as a new iphone when it asks the question to do so?
and then do i have to go back and put all my contacts back into my phone?
