3G iPhone is disabled

I have a 3G that the first thing that I did to it was take it to someone and had it jailbroken. My daughter was playing with the phone as she normally does but this time she managed to lock out my phone. We tried different passwords one too many times and now the phone shows a red banner saying: "iPhone is disabled connect to iTunes". When I do that, itunes says that it can not connect because the phone is locked with a passcode, like I didn't know. I was told I need to take it back to the person who jailbroke it for me since it has to see that computer that it was initially syncd with and that is why my itunes is not seeing it. I took it back and the same thing. They tried winpwn but once it builds a file (?) it needs itunes and back to square one. They tried to quickpwn it to try and get around it and that didn't work. Now I a phone that starts with the quickpwn logo and back to the red banner. I'm screwed? I'm just afraid to call apple the way the phone is, third party apps and now this new boot logo. Can this be fixed or am I really screwed?

your not screwed.. you can get it going again..

screwed is living in ireland paying 50euros for 100 minutes free calls to certain networks and 100 texts a month,,

anyhow first thing is tell person who did your iphone to uninstall everything to do with unlocking jailbreaking on his pc..
than download 2.1 not 2.2 firmware here

than get quickpwn from wherever he wants to,

restart pc after all uninstalls

than just run quickpwn..
if that do not help run the iphone again through itunes .. and if it locks up..
i think you will need apple assistance but they will not know you did anything as there firmware will be installed

Went to try what you suggested.
Got QuickPwn22-1
Got 1,2_2.1_5F136 firmware
Start up quickwpn and get "This version of QuickPwn can only jailbreak devices with versions>=2.0"
From what I know it has 2.0.2 firmware on it.

One thing that has really hit me is:
I can not enter a passcode on the phone to unlock it, just emergency call,
the phone tells me to connect to itunes, when I connect to itunes
it will not see the phone until I enter a passcode.
Just a mixed up circle.
