Is there a way to revert back to the original names for apps on the home screen? I would rather get rid of the "Mobile" on some and go back to iPod for that icon. This is especially true where they get truncated. Is this a copyright issue?

Thx-

To answer my own question with help from Hans...

Locate in the iFuntastic Support folder. Find HomeScreenArrangement.txt. Open it and enter the name you want to use for each app on the line that ends newName =

Example:

com.apple.mobileipod_newName = iPod

Save and restart iFuntastic, update the phone and there you go.

Now another question... How do I change the icons on some apps. I followed the logical step of adding the following:

com.apple.DemoApp_newIconPath = /users/tom/desktop/iPhonica/graph.png

But this doesn't seem to work

Go inside the app
remove _org_icon.png
replace icon.png with the new icon
refresh the apps list in iFuntastic in the home screen pane.

Boom

I found the text file and changed the filenames. For some reason the maps, ipod, and notes apps will not change.

Any ideas?

Maybe you just need to refresh the apps list?
