Putting Mail on iPod touch

I'm sure we'll be able to jailbreak the iPod touch, right? Same OS, same apps.

I'd order an iPod touch right now if it had Mail. Webmail doesnt work properly on it most of the time.

Think it will be possible to get the Mail app from the iPhone onto the iPod touch? Or Google maps for that matter?

I'm sure it'll be possible. I can't imagine that it won't work. As you say, it seem to be the same OS, after all, it has Safari :)
