iFuntastic 3.0 Question

So I just finished changing all the apps on my phone. I used the slow method of putting them on 1 at a time. 1/2 way through i had to change the location of some icons using the home page re-arrange. When I updated the phone it moved the icons but undid all my new icons I had set.

My question is - how do i rearrange the home screen (or add a background) and not have it undo all the custom icons?? Or isn't this possible yet?

When you refresh your apps list, iFuntastic checks to see what icons are in the apps. If you only have an icon.png, it makes the _org_icon.png for tweaking later. That stays the same always. Icon.png is created from that using the background for the page.

Long story short, you want to remove _org_icon.png and then replace your icon.png. iFuntastic should take care of things from there.

I think so, let me just be sure I'm understanding this correctly.

I've already replaced all the icon.png files with the ones I want. so now I...

I want to go into mobilephone.app using ifuntastic, delete the org_icon, then repeat for each application?? at the end of this i refresh appliaction list? or at the beginning of the process??

Also, any idea how to change the dialer and make it stick? I downloaded a new one, and iFuntastic is showing it as my current dialer, but my phone is still showing the original. this last time I tried, after i rebooted the phone and went to the dialer I saw the new one for a second, then it changed back.

Not sure what you mean by a "dialer".

You will want to remove the _org_icon.png on all the apps you changed the icon of as soon as you can. That's because iFuntastic makes a decision based on what you have.

If you have both, then it uses _org_icon.png as the reference for making the icon file with text and a background. If you only have icon.png it will copy that and make the copy _org_icon.png. If you only have _org_icon.png, I'm not sure what it'll do. Probably explode.

In summation, remove _org_icon.png if you're replacing the icon with icon.png and only after you do that should you refresh the apps list in iFuntastic.

My dialer doesnt work either. And dialer is a good term for this the actual image is named dialerkeypad and dialerkeypad_pressed

Both of these do not change when you apply new images to them.. however the add contact and delete number buttons and call button all change

Try actually deleting the image you want to replace. After that, upload the new one. That should do it.

Yeah I tried that again today just to make sure and it doesnt do anything!
