1. Download Nate True's tether kit http://dinkdoink.com/upload/tetherkit-osx.zip

2. Download Installer.app http://iphone.nullriver.com/beta/

3. Using Installer on your iPhone, install the BSD Subsytem

4. Using iFuntastic v3.0, put net.sourceforge.socks-relay.srelay.plist from the tetherkit folder in /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/ on your iPhone. Put srelay in /usr/bin/

Follow the instructions for use on OS X on Nate True's blog. http://cre.ations.net/blog/post/tether-your-iphone

See if that works. You may need to load a page

Spoon, followed your instruction and still can't get the mac to surf via tethering. I can see the Iphone, ping it, ssh (with fugu) even telnet into it, but the mac just won't surf.

What I did not due is run the scripts from nates blog since I figured the files are already there via Ifuntastic.

Any advice?

Upate: I tried the manual procedure that is in the hacks section of the site. I can ssh to the phone, login etc. When I run srelay, it bombs out saying it can open a socket. I checked and all the files that have to be there are there. This phone has firmware 1.0.2.

TIA
