HELP! Won't restore!

After using iFuntastic 3, I got an error message telling me to restore, which I did before using iFuntastic 3. I clicked okay and my phone went into restore mode. When I clicked restore, everything was going fine but then like half-way, iTunes gives me an error message saying unknown error (6). What do I do? Is there a way to get out of recovery mode?

dude i was getting the same thing with ibricker. What i did is disconnect your phone from the pc and uninstall itunes. Then reinstall itunes and connect your phone. its probably gonna ask you that you need a restore. restore it. all your info should be in the computer already so dont worry about losing all the contacts on your phone. when your phone is fully restored go to the iphone info page on itunes and click on the box that says replace items of pc or something like that this will load all your contacts from the pc if you have it sync. the problem i had is that now i cant fully restore my (iphone holding power and home screen button) ibricker messed some stuf on my iphone i guess. if you want to add ringtones safely use iphoneringtonemaker.com if you need help reply

Thanks for helping out. I tried but it still didn't work. I actually used iFuntastic instead of iTunes and I unshackled it. After unshackeling it, it was still in recovery mode, but I was able to restore it on iTunes.

can't restore after using iFuntastic...nothing works, on startup the phone just go into recovery mode automatically.

Things I’ve tried:

1. trashed all iPhone related files.

2. reinstalled iTunes.

3. downgraded to iTunes 7.3.2

4. reverted to the old MobileDevice.framework file.


and some...but nothing works.
