Is it possible to place an image behind the springboard using iFuntastic? And if not, what is the easiest way to do this?
Thanks!

I feel like an echo...
If you dont feel like bricking you phone with iFuntastic, install summerboard. It lets you scroll your springboard icons JUST like a playlist - flick up and down. It also places a faded version of whatever wallpaper you have selected behind all the icons and upper menu bar. And unlike iFuntastic, the wallpaper goes edge to edge.

the only thing i do not like about springboard is how messy it gets. When you have tons of applications and your scrolling threw, somtimes its difficult to find the one you want quickly.

True that lots of apps can get messy. But how many apps can one really have to get that bad - ok, don't answer! lol
Like I said in another post, iFuntastics method of "pages" is interesting, but right now you have to select the page you want, then its loads or whatever which takes a second or two. Then it locks the phone so you have to slide to unlock. And then you hope you picked the right page. If not, repeat above again.... If they fix it so the pages load right away and you don't have to unlock when changing I may consider it. Right now its too slow for me, but the killer was having to "slide to unlock" each time.
But for most of us looking for a little more and want to spend less time searching for an app there are other options out there. In the time it takes iFuntastic to do its thing once could have browsed and opened up that wanted app.

true, and i am with you as far as the having to unlock part is annoying. The developer said that had to happen because when you switch the page, it has to shut down the "finder" for the iphone and switch to a different application (hence, the next page). Hopefully he will figure out a way to make it so it doesn't have to lock. And in the feature request, thast the one thing i requested when it first came out. I still like being able to designate different pages for different things tho. Like, i made a bookmarks page for example

which helps a lot in loading up websites quickly. But i guess its all in how you use your phone. If you want any of those bookmark icon links i have them here..

Ya, I saw that book marks page idea. GREAT idea. When I first used iFuntastic I could not figure out what I could so to use all 4 pages, this would for sure become one.
