The gears of capitalism are churning. Nokia has just announced a new phone which bears a striking resemblance to the iPhone. The new unnamed phone was announced at Nokia's GoPlay event. No other details could be found.

The phone should be released next month. Say hello to iCompetition.

Edit: Sorry for the mix-up. The new phone is not the N95.

The N95 is already out, and has been for months. The phone in the video isn't an N95. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_N95

According to multiple sources, this is the new version of the N95 that has not been released in the US yet. Check this story if you would like to see for yourself.

The new version of the N95 is the N95 8GB. It's here: http://www.nseries.com/index.html#l=products,n95_8gb The PC Mag article you mentioned even has a picture of it: http://common.ziffdavisinternet.com/util_get_image/16/0,1425,sz=1&i=168110,00.jpg

Note that is available soon. Note also that it *is not* the phone in the video. The N95 has keys on the bottom, the one in the video does not.

Here's another article at engadget: http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/29/nokias-n95-finally-us-bound-with-hsdpa

This is the new phone, not the "whatever-the-hell-that-was" in the video.

I don't understand why they even bothered making that video. Its basically the iPhoto version of the Apple ads.

This could still use some editing since, while the N95 is out soon, the phone in the ad is simply a prototype (or even just a mockup).
