I have an iPhone 1st gen, and whenever I try to install some applications through installer it always pops this message up " Unable to Decode package more info at http://'apps name' Even Cydia pops this up. Please help me! :[

your iphone is obviously jailbroken.. is it unlocked as well ..
try rejailbreaking it .. but first update it to 2.0.2 than use winpwn 2.5 to unlockn again and rejailbreak /./..

as everyone else is not getting this problem so maybe reinstall cydia again through jailbreak in case anything happenned that it didnt get done properly

However you jailbroke your iPhone before, do it again. There are numerous ways to that. Check out google.com!

right step by step here we go

go here and download iphone software 2.0.2 for the 2g {thats first gen } iphone

save this to your desktop
than go here
http://winpwn.com/index.php/Main_Page

scroll down a little until you see rapidshare link to download winpawn
click it it brings you to rapid share click free user wait until the timer counts down and than save that file to desktop to..
pk sp far
now install the winpwn { thats the 1 from rapid share ~
restart pc
now run winpwn and follow instructions as they appear on screen..
than if follow correctly
it should ask to browse for ispw file if it hasnt found it itslef ..
thats the file from the first link i gave you..
it will build a bew custom ispw from that file save this to desktop also
than plug iphone in and start itunes
do a shift restore browse to the custo, file and itunes will do the rest..
