Apple, continuing to try and make up for what many have called a fiasco, in regards to the MobileMe launch; has offered an extension to its members today marking the second such extension in the past month and a half. MobileMe subscribers received an email today stating that they would receive a 60 day extension in addition to the already alloted 30 day extension <a href="http://www.iphonealley.com/news/apple-says-sorry-mobileme-trouble-offers-30-day-free-extension" target="_blank">offered late last month</a>. Bringing the total extension to 90 days or 3 months.<!--break-->

In it's email to subscribers, Apple reiterated its commitment to MobileMe and maintaining the stability they have recently found and stated its reasoning for the extension was to reward the patience of its users by <i>"giving every MobileMe subscriber as of today a free 60 day extension... We are working very hard to make MobileMe a great service we can all be proud of. We know that MobileMe's launch has not been our finest hour, and we truly appreciate your patience as we turn this around."</i></div>

Wow this is interesting being that I just signed up for mobile me two days ago and am already wanting to cancel it. I had my entire phone synced with exchange from work and it was awesome. So when I no longer had that I figured Mobile Me was just as great. But it as many issues, i understand it is a new service but I still have contacts that are not synced between everything and it makes no sense, only certain contacts dont show up. I hope they get this fixed because to be honest syncing with itunes was much easier and more reliable but with the extension ill try to give it more time and another chance. If anyone knows what may be causing my issues with syncing let me know please, maybe it is user error.

I'm sure you're not alone. I guess the only thing we can do is to hope that Apple can fix it soon.
