well just restore and/or even more extreme erase all data by:
1. Tap settings
2. Tap General
3. Tap Reset
4. Tap Erase All Content and Settings

So I had an iPhone jailbroken using 2.0. I put it into DFU mode and restore, however the phone restores to 2.0.1. Now, mail.app doesn't work. Any clue on what I should do?

I downloaded the 2.0 ipsw (or whatever four letters that is) and restored to that, then upgraded again to 2.0.1. Still didn't work. Any suggestions?

Just a simple restore will cover it up. As long as it's not really apparent to the Genius', then don't worry about it.

As far as your mail not working, have you been restoring your backed up information to your iPhone after the software restore? You probably have a bad preference or something.

yeah i have been updating for backup when i get to 2.0.1. i'll overwrite the backup and use a clean one and see how that works.

everything is fine right now on 2.0, so i'll upgrade and see what happens.
