I have a 2G iPhone running version 2.0 firmware and I am curious if any Roger Customers are using the $30/6GB data plan?

I phone Rogers and they can add the plan to my existing voice plan but they cannot guarantee the data rate on the 2G phone. Now I am not sure what that means, does that mean it will not work? Anyone running 2G phone on Rogers with this data plan having any problems?

Thanks,

I have looked into it myself. A lot of places will basicaly tell you to screw off and no you cant have data because you have a grey market phone.

I kept asking around and then I was told yes you can do it. AND!!! if i were to up grade to a 3G phone later on, the data plan goes both ways. So its is like it changes over to 3G data on your new device.

I do not have the plan yet, but after visting many rogers stores I now know its possible for them to at the $30 data plan onto your exsiting voice/ect plan.
