Seems like Summerboard did not get revised.
Any other way to get new themes?

Unfortunately not. BUT Installer.app is coming (SOON!!!) to the 2.0 jailbreak. Hopefully that will encourage Developers to port over to 2.0 and so SummerBoard and Customize should be coming... somewhat soon...hopefully. :]

Cydia now has Themes and Winterboard and Summerboard Themes but no Summerboard. I downloaded Winterboard and although the developer notes some quirks, it installed Buuf2 without a hitch - runs smoothly on my 1Gen 8 GB version 2.0.1 pwned jailbroken and unlocked.

WinterBoard is currently fully compliant with SummerBoard and actually has more features than SummerBoard ever did. The theme chooser is still overly simplistic, but that will be fixed in time. There is really no reason to continue to hope that SummerBoard is ported.
(SummerBoard, btw, is written by NullRiver, the same people who did Installer. NullRiver sold Installer to RiPDev, who has rewritten it from scratch, and it rather sucks. RiPDev also will not be porting SummerBoard as they are trying to get people to buy their FaceLift product, and so didn't buy the rights to that application. I am not certain why anyone thinks that waiting for Installer is going to get them anything they want...)
