So i need a little help. Right now i just upgraded my itunes from 7.5 to 7.7. and then now i'm trying to unlock my iphone 2.0. I used the Pwnagetool version 2.0.1 to create a custom iphone firmware restore. Now I cannot restore my iphone using the custom firmware that i created using the Pwnagetool software. In Itunes i have no way of selecting the custom firmware. Using the hackthatiphone website tutorial i'm stuck at step 4, specifically at "Press Option and click the Restore button. In the pop up window that opens, navigate to the custom .ipsw file that was saved to your dekstop by PwnageTool at the end of Step 3." Because i can't find the words "OPTION" anywhere.
I've also tried by opening itunes with the custom firmware that i created and when i restore my iphone it still is neither unlocked or activated. Need help ASAP!!!!

don't have a mac but I have used one
When they say "option" it means to hold Down the buttons toward the bottom left of you apple computer I think there is an apple, control and another key
You hold those while selecting the restore option on iTunes and then you can find your custom ipsw that you made
-it's kinda confusing but I hope you get the gist of it

Yeah, "option" is an actual key right next to the "control" button on your keyboard.

I think you are 100% right. Wow i need to read. "Press option and click on restore" will try in a few minutes due to me being an idiot and trying the same thing 100 times expecting a different result

What kind of SIM are you using? Is it BootNeuter that's telling you it's not supported?
