I'm trying to install iFuntastic v2.5.0 on my sister's MacBook and when I click on it to open iFuntastic nothing happens. v2.1.0 works fine, so I am puzzled with my issue with v2.5.0 any help would be appreciated, I am fairly new with Macs so maybe I am missing something obvious but help would be greatly appreciated.

The process should be fairly simple. Download the file with Safari and it should automatically unzip it for you. If not, double click the .zip and it will extract. You should then have a .pkg file which will install iFuntastic and the necessary files. Go to your Applications folder and the new version of iFuntastic should be there. It's named "iFuntastic"

That make sense?

When I click the .pkg to install nothing happens for me, and iFuntastic is not in the Applications directory, I tried uninstalling v2.1.0 first then install but that didn't help.

Try downloading it again. Installer.app should open when you double click the .pkg

Alright, so when I double click the .pkg installer flashes open then closes, I tried installing the new Boot Camp 1.4 too and it did the same thing. Is it a problem with Installer.app maybe?

Yup, sounds like you have a problem either with Installer.app or your Mac. Try downloading the latest Combo Updater and installing it. Usually that fixes problems like these.
