We have some bad news for our friends in the U.K. who were hoping to get one of the white iPhone 3Gs. O2 has revealed earlier that the white iPhone 3G will not be available from O2 on July 11th, but will "come later". In fact, Carphone Warehouse adds that "that the white 16GB model won’t be available at launch" anywhere in the UK. This makes us wonder if we'll be seeing the fabled white iPhone <em>anywhere</em> at launch, or for some time.

Supposedly, only Apple Stores in the US will get white iPhone 3Gs. The black looks a lot better, though ;).

I wish I knew in what proportions Apple is manufacturing the iphones. Seems they see much less of a demand for the White iPhone than the Black. And what capacity will be in highest demand? I'm thinking the 16 GB. I'd like to see a poll on the subject.

wow thats a major bummer for those in the uk. and if the white iphone is exclusive to the US then thats a major bummer for the rest of the world. you guys will just have to hit up some ebay!
