I'm not sure if this has been posted but if you sync you i{hone to a Mac computer with the Garageband software you can create ringtones for your phone for free.
Simple Steps:
1. Delete any musical tracks in GArageband when you open a new track.
2. Drag the mp3 file you want to use into the Garageband window
3. Edit the song using the scissors on the bottom of the screen.
4. When you have your length you want to use, start it at the 0:00 time and bring the end of song L mark all the way to the end of your cut piece. ( the L marker will be at the end of the time where the original time was so you may have to scroll far right to find it.
5.) Click the repeat symbol and drag the blue section of what to repeat all the way to the end of your cut track.
6.) Save the song
7.)Go to the Share pulldown menu and select "send to itunes ringtones"
8.) Sync your iPhone and enjoy!!
Feel free to ask any questions if you get stuck!!!
