I just love the iphone interface and I was thinking about if it is possible to use the iphone as keypad, with a customized interface, to control my computer. so I have some more keys and a multi touch pad or a wonderful remote control. If anybody has some advice on these please help !

I am a little confused by your post. You want to use the iPhone as the number pad like on a typical full sized keyboard? If that's the case, I am not aware of any solutions for that.
As for using it as a remote, there are a couple of apps available. One, I use, is called telekinesis and I could not recommend it enough. It does essentially any and every type of remote controlling of your computer I think you could want. This app does not require you to jailbreak your phone either :)
Also, a jailbreak app inside installer that I would recommend is Touchpad Pro. Touchpad allows you to VNC into your computer and screen share, control the mouse, keyboard etc. However the demo version is blind and does not allow you to view the screen. The full license is $15 I believe. I could be wrong.
Don't forget the rumored iTunes remote control that Apple is supposedly going to release with the iPhone 2.0 software on July 11th.
I hope some of this helps!

not a number pad, but a pad with special keyboard combination or for example to allow the zooming on the mac. It is installed in the operation system like we see on those new Macbook Pros but it is not yet available to other Mac models so I thought it might be possible to use the iphone as bluetooth connected touch pad.

...for example to allow the zooming on the mac.
What zooming are you referring to? Where you hold the ctrl key and scroll up and down on the trackpad or scroll wheel?

I mean the zooming you know from the new touch pads in those new Macbook Pro Apple calls it trackpad gesture (http://www.apple.com/macbookpro/features.html).
EDIT: Found a better link (http://movies.apple.com/movies/us/apple/mac/macbookair/2008/apple_macbookair_zoom_20080115_r320-13cie.mov)! Here is what I was looking for !

Thanks for the clarification.
I was talking about screen zooming which is doable on any trackpad or mouse that allows scrolling (see this application to add scrolling to older portables http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/26123).
You want the pinch and expand option which could be nice in some situations. I've wanted a device to do something like what you are talking about for some time. A device for the transition between interactive an non interactive screens. Wacom has come close with its 12 wx, but $900 dollars isn't as nice as using a device we already have. Also, it isn't multi-touch. It is likely that we will have to wait for Apple to add the functionality or open the SDK more.

I hope to see something similar soon. there are so many open source projects about multi touch right now, so it should not be too difficult for apple to add that. HP already has a multi touch computer (http://www.hp.com/united-states/campaigns/touchsmart/index.html). I am just wondering if it is possible to connect this screen to my mac ... would be wonderful.

HP already has a multi touch computer.
HP's web site shows the user touching the screen with two fingers at once but I wonder how "Multi-Touch" it is. HP doesn't emphasize multi-touch in their videos.
Interestingly the screen itself is not touch sensitive which is why HP is able to sell the computer for a reasonable price. According to Gizmodo.com, "The screen of the Touchsmart isn't touch sensitive; it's actually a beam of light in front of the screen that recognizes where your finger is when you break the plane of the light beam." I wonder how the beam of light works when many fingers are in front of it.

I use my iphone to control my iTunes library on my MBP. As a keyboard, it must be possible. Remote desktop, would be awesome!!!!

Google for iPhone Telekinesis. It does this and doesn't require jailbreaking. However, the jailbreak app, Touchpad Pro is much faster at loading images from your computer.
