Ok forumites, I found you some Doom'n tools. Via iPhoneWorld.ca (http://www.iphoneworld.ca/news/2007/08/10/id-software-doom-on-iphone/):

Installation note: you’ll need a Doom .wad file (ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com/idstuff/doom/doom-1.8.wad.gz).

WAD files go in /var/root/Media/Doom . If the app quits immediately after launch, there was probably an issue with the wad file. If you’re using the shareware wad, make sure it’s named doom1.wad . If that doesn’t help, execute the app from the shell so you can see the printf()s.

No doubt! I took the little Doom "demo" off, as it's just a couple of screen. If someone actually gets a playable version working, that'll be great!

any news on doom yet looked aroud but found nothing and the links aboce kept crashing on my laptop
