In a recent interview, T-Mobile Germany CEO Philipp Humm announced that, although they won't be offering a free iPhone like UK company <a href="http://www.iphonealley.com/news/o2-offer-discounted-free-iphone-3g-handsets-exchange-high-end-calling-plans" target="_blank">O2</a>, those who sign up for their €89/month (US$136) plan will be able to purchase an iPhone for the price of just €1, or about US$1.50.
