Michael Ferrerya of everythingiPhone.com wrote today that, according to JeffBobula there's a new iPhone release date; June 29th. He claims that he walked in to the local AT&T store where a friend of his was working to ask him for more information about the iPhone, and his friend "…let 'slip' that the iphone is arriving to stores in the last week of June, either the 28th or 29th," after which the manager illedgedly walked up and explained that it would be arriving the 28th and shipping the 29th (this informaiton having arrived via a coorperate email).
If this were true, than, as JeffBobula put it so well: "ITS TIME TO CHANGE OUR COUNTDOWNS!:D:D:D:D"
Afterward, I half expected him to include a casual "j/k lol". Not to be unduely cinical of JeffBobula, but I'm skeptical. Michael Ferrerya includes that as of yet there is still no official word from Apple on this (or any) date. Honestly, I think it's somewhat unlikely. It doesn't take into consideration the other email instructing employees not to schedule vacation time for the June 15th date, and this has yet to be firmly disputed. Also, this date would not coencide with the alredy confirmed WWDC announcement. So, for now, I'm sticking with June 11th and 15th.
