iPhone could not start up after replacing master.passwd in firmware1.1.4

Anyone please help me. I followed the instruction for replacing all the codes generated to change my password and my iPhone could not start up. I had to force reset the iPhone and now i can't start it up.
It comes out weird weird lines and icons. Please help me......

Oh boy, without any clue, restoring you iPhone could be the fastest and easiest way now. Try to restore it to 1.1.4 and unlock it by the tutorial at hackthatphone.com.

Oh no...which firmware should I restore it to?
I read some articles saying i should restore it to 1.1.1 instead of 1.1.4. as it is easier to unlock it that way. Thanks man.

Actually that is incorrect, 1.1.4 is now just as easy to unlock as 1.1.1. I recommend using iLiberty+ or ZiPhone or WinPwn for Windows. For Mac I think PWNAGE is the best, and I dont know any others. So you can download ziphone fomr www.ziphone.org, winpwn from www.winpwn.com, iliberty+ from http://www.modmyifone.com/forums/news/85611-iliberty-1-windows-jailbreaking-unlocking-activation-iphone-itouch.html, and PWNAGE from www.iphone-dev.org, if you have any other questions just ask :D

It wont let me edit my post so I hope I am not breaking any rules by double posting, and if I am if a mod could just merge my posts, but here is what I wanted to add.

I just remembered. 1.1.1 is very easy to jailbreak as all you have to do is go to www.jailbreakme.com and click jailbreak and its done. But 1.1.4 has more features and less bugs. So I recommend 1.1.4 over 1.1.1. Plus all current apps are made for 1.1.4 and may not be 1.1.1 compatible.
