You're not going to believe this, but there is a rumor that Apple might be planning a revision of their keyboard. I have no idea why they would want to.
Here's the article [with pictures] on Gizmodo (http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/rumor-forensics/imac-ultra+thin-metal-keyboard-images-may-show-dashboard-media-icons-283117.php), and here's another comparing it to the current model (http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/side_by_rumored_side/new-apple-keyboard-vs-old-version-283536.php).
I have to say, at the moment I'm liking what I'm seeing, for the most part. They appear to have an aluminum base instead of the clear plastic, which looked really great, but might offer more stability as metal. Oddly enough, it also has harder edges than the clear plastic. Still, I think the plastic has the advantage.
More interestingly, the keys are laid out differently, and there are some new ones. For one, the volume buttons are moved, and the F12 key has been replaced by a key with the Dashboard logo on it, and a little Exposé button in the corner. Unfortunately, it no longer has a "Help" key; instead, the "fn" key replaced it. What really got my attention was that it has media support: (<<), (>||), and (>>)!! :D
I think it looks great! How about you?
