Getting tired of that ringtone, but not sure where to look for more? How about subscribing to one in iTunes? TeenBuzz.com has released several of their signature high-frequency ringtones in the form of a podcast. It's very convenient: new ringtones download automatically to iTunes into the Ringtones directory, ready to be synced to the iPhone. Hopefully this will grow into something big, as it very well could.

You can click here to subscribe to their ringtone podcast (...ring-cast?). A detailed tutorial on how to use their feed is available here.

Update: Teen Buzz just posted with information that Apple has accepted their feed for inclusion in iTunes. There is a good chance that this could be the next big thing in podcasting and ringtones alike, especially now that they have Apple's blessing.

Have been using the podcast feature for a while now at http://www.nakko.com/ it's all free too but there's a bigger choice plus the podcast feed will only be rigtones you have selected or even made yourself.

Is it just me or is ringtones getting way out of hand? We should just be able to select an already loaded .mp3 that we have on the iphone as a ringtone. Is this to difficult for someone to make a hack for? I mean seriously, we have all these so called workarounds for ringtones but none as easy as a smartphone running win mobile. I have to admit that on my other smartphone I can set anything as a ringtone, even a movie I recorded with the camera phone.......apple has to do something about this or it is just going to lose customers. Has anyone you know paid TWICE for a ringtone? I say twice cause you have to pay for the song, then pay to make that song into a ringtone? HELL NO
