FSJ's little Pony has done it again. This time he's going after the cell phone market with his new fangled Java OS. Whoever thought Java would graduate to become a full fledged operating system?

Sun purchased a company named Savaje just last Friday and they're crawling all over the software trying to make it work as a mobile phone OS. Yesterday they demoed a version of their Java Mobile FX operating system on a phone from some Taiwanese company nobody's ever heard of. They decided it would be a great idea to whip up a shiny icon-based UI on top of it. Trust me, it looks nothing like the iPhone UI (see above picture).

Funny thing is, Savaje has been around for quite some time and hasn't taken off. But that's no matter, Jonathan Scwartz always tends to know when something is going to be a big hit. Remember Project Blackbox?

I'm sure you guys have a few sitting back home. I already have one of these bad boys in my backyard and since they can be stacked six high, I know what I'll be asking for come Christmas.
