i've searched and followed everything i could find on this site, mod my ifone. and hackingtosh i ihad a 1.0.2 phone. restored to itunes came away with the 1.0.4 and current baseband. i used ziphone and everything unlocked fine and jailbroke although somehow it jailed itself. i fixed that by jailbreaking via independence. i was able to install the installer through comm sources and install maybe 10 programs. somehow (and perhaps it was a utility i installed) but i started to get the main script execution failed message. i used terminal and followed two methods...the one using wget (which could never be found) and then another u
that used commands that consisted of "private" before Applications. i re-jailbraked, rebooted, eveything short of a restore but nothing seems to clear my problem. the rest of the on t-mobile the installed programs work fine. but i can no longer get any program to run. i was able via transmit to add summerboard themes and ebooks but nothing else.

i'd appreciate any help i can get. believe me i've googled and searched all the forums and nothing has work for me on my macbook pro

I had the same problem. More than likely you used Ziphone to Activate and Jailbreak a iphone that was not 1.1.2 or 1.1.3 OTB. For some weird reason this method is only 100% bug free when doing it on and 1.1.2 or 1.1.3 OTB. If this method was preformed on any other phone it will work BUT after you need to install ZIPhone Jail Break Fix. It can be found in installer after you update Comunity Sources, and Big Boss Recommended Sources. Its almost at the bottom of the list in the Z's After you press Install, press Clear Queue if it comes up first then press install again. This should fix your problem it fix mine

thanks i'll check that.

but, i found this solution on a separate google search and it worked for me:

You can download installer app directly by downloading it from http://repository.apptapp.com/packag.../Installer.zip and then copy to your Applications dir using your SCP app of choice, but you’ll need to ssh into your phone afterward and do:

Code:
cd /Applications
rm -rf Installer.app
unzip Installer.zip
chmod +s Installer.app/Installer
chown -R root:wheel Installer.app
chmod 4755 /Applications/Installer.app/Installer
rm Installer.zip
reboot
