View Full Version : Frm 1.1.4 - No connection to carrier

Hi

I have updated (restore) my iphone (OTB 1.1.2) to the new firmware 1.1.4 and i have actived, jailbreaked and unlocked it. I can use all functions but i don't have a connection to my carriere. I have used iWorld on the 1.1.2 firmware because i live in a foreign country, but now i cannot install it anymore and the region fix doesn't work really. Can anybody help, please?

I am having the exact same problem! Would love to know how to get around it. Want my iPhone back and working again.

Me 2!

I bought mine last week with 1.1.3. installed, I tried using ZiPhone, with out any lock, except that it as been activated and jailbroken, but I can't use it as a phone or send text messages.

Please help me.

Hi

I have found a solution for the problem:

Download the newest version of ziphone (http://www.ziphone.org/), it will be the c version (ZiPhoneWin-2.5c.exe). You don't must restore again, just connect the phone to the computer, install the ZiPhoneWin (Install in a new folder (if you have installed another version before)) and press on Do it all! After 4 minutes the phone will restart and the sim card works. I have done it with a swiss mobile carrier.
