Today, investment banking analysts from UBS went to Cupertino to have a meeting with part of the Apple executive team. Apple executives in attendance were CFO Peter Oppenheimer, VP of iTunes, Eddy Cue, and VP of Mac Product marketing, David Moody.
When asked about the iPhone, the management team said they were confident that the iPhone would ship on time and in enough volume to meet the demand. So all of these rumors that there would be an initial shortage of phones can be put to rest. It seems like we can count on getting our iPhones without delay when it is officially launched.
