[GUIDE] Jailbreak and Activate 1.1.4

The new Firmware 1.1.4 is very similar to 1.1.3. As most of you may already know, Zibri's ZiPhone has a working jailbreak function (As with version 2.4) so you can just use that to jailbreak 1.1.4. However, the activation will not work, since the baseband has been updated again. But the good news is that the patch for the lockdownd file used in 1.1.3 can be applied to 1.1.4.

so...

1. Use the newest version of Ziphone to jailbreak your new 1.1.4 firmware. Do so by selecting jailbreak in extras only if you are using the GUI, or the corresponding command using command interface.

2. Once it is jailbroken, replace the original 1.1.4 lockdownd with the new patched version. you can get it here -

3. SSH into your iphone once you have installed the BSD subsystem ect ect and copy the lockdownd file to location: libexec/

4. Restart you iPhone and your done.

*NOTE* in 3 days from this post zibri would have updated ZiPhone which will jailbreak and activate for you and also unlock the new baseband as stated on his blog. This is for people who simply cant wait :)
