Hello all
consider this app call AFP easily found in installer , which on the iphone allows it to connect to your mac and maybe windows machine using apple file protocol.
On the mac you will see (Leopard) under 'shared' the name of you iphone which you can navigate like any volume.
And you can drop install files as well.
It needs your mac and iphone on the same network, you give your iphone a broadcast name from within AFP and then activate 'broadcast' and 'server' which are 2 slide buttons.
This has to be the easiest solution to networking so far.
No ssh, no command line... just elegant mac OS and drag n drop.
Boss prefs also has plugin for its control panel.
Working currently under 1.13, cannot comment on earlier iphone OS.
all very cool
