iPhone Tmobile Sim Unlock

So, I know there are multiple threads covering this but, to sum this all up..

I can go to the apple store now, buy a brand new 8GB iPhone 1.1.3, follow this method from hackthatphone.com (http://www.hackthatphone.com/113/iphone_113_jailbreak_easiest_yet_mac.html) and be fine? I just turn it on and follow those directions? Or do I have to do something before that? If anyone can confirm 100% instructions starting from unboxing till these steps http://www.hackthatphone.com/113/iphone_113_jailbreak_easiest_yet_mac.html that would be incredible. Thanks to all.

the instructions on this site are great. the problem i had with mine is once i unlocked, no simcard would register. not even at&t. so i had someone else unlock it for me. the thing i forgot was to upgrade it back to 1.1.2 but in your case 1.1.3. not sure if this helped but im jus lettin you know what problems i encountered.
