Hello,

I need help. I shipped a US Iphone productionweek 51 to Austria and i tried to
jailbreak it. I downgraded to 1.1.1, restarted it with independece, connected to wifi and started appsnapp.
It started to load, switched back to activation screen and nothing happened.
The phone don´t restart and isn´t jailbreaked. I waited for a hour, but nothing happened.
I tried it so many times, but it´s always the same.:(

did anybody had the same problem?

i have an OTB 1.1.2 iPhone and accidentally upgraded to 1.1.3 and now the bootloader is 4.6 and nobody can downgrade w/out opening the iphone. what i do is restore to 1.1.1, use iNdependence, install appSnap, install BSD, otko prep and all the baseband and bootloader stuff but when i upgrade to 1.1.2 it ends up in recovery mod.

quit trying to use independence, it's too buggy for me. Access the contacts page via the emergency dialer method and add a new contact will the home page url as http://jailbreakme.com and save it and press done. Then click on the contact and then the jailbreakme url. scroll to the bottom and install it. Don't touch the phone untill it reboots and shows the slide to unlock graphic. Slide the slider and the Springboard should be staring back at you. Then go to installer and install oktoprep and then update to 1.1.2. After that, DL the notouch 1.1.2 jailbreak program from here, http://conceitedsoftware.com/iphone/1.1.2-jailbreak.zip and do what it says. You should end up with a nice jailbroken and activated 1.1.2 phone. This was all for the original poster. Threadjacker, you should DL the same program and use it to boot from recovery and then to jailbreak.

i know all of that but i need to find a bootloader downgrader, I've already hack it tons of times to 1.1.2 but now even with all the installer stuff, when i try to upgrade to 1.1.2 from hacked 1.1.1, it finishes and says it is in recovery mode.

@ josh
I also tried ibrickr to kick the phone out of recovery mode.
I didn´t touch the phone after installing appsnapp and nothing happens.
It didn´t reboot and is still jailed.

Is it possible, that apple closed the backdoor for a tiff file?

well Mr. Threadjacker, you did not ask about how to downgrade the baseband, your issue above is how do you get your phone out of Dfu mode. To do that, dl the program I linked to and press "boot from recovery". Then you should have access to your phone and you can downgrade the daseband via a new packet in installer hosted by hack that phone.
Original poster, all I can say is keep trying the dl. Make sure to disconnect the iPhone from your PC when you are installing jailbreakme too. That was always the one thing that made my appsnap instalations hang and fail
