I am referring to Mr. Obrien's GUI app AFPd.app. Not the presence or absence of working AFP service on the phone
I tried to install and run AFPd on my newly jailbroken phone. At first it installed, but didn't want to turn on (via the GUI). Then I uninstalled it and when I installed via Installer.app, it didn't show up in my app list, although it was there in /Applications on the phone.
I am assuming this is just a glitch in the installation with the new software. You manually install in /opt directory but I don't see one in the new 1.1.3 file system.
I did install via the rep.frenchiphone.com installer source. And I can connect. Just without a GUI or a way to turn on or off the service (to save battery).
Just thought folks might be interested.
