A rather interesting issue has been appearing on the web in the last few days. It seems that some people placing calls to individuals with iPhones can hear the other line before it's picked up. In one case a caller told their friend that he could hear him before actually answering the iPhone. In another case the caller merely heard the iPhone's ring tone.
I am not sure how widespread the issue is, though if it is fairly persistent it could indicate a large security flaw. I'm guessing it might be a component defect, and is limited to a very very small percentage. Remember Apple had the iPhone get more than 5000 hours of call testing, I don't think something like this would be missed.
My iPhone seems to be having no problems, how about any one else's?
