ok. I liked this program when it first came out but honestly, I don't like all the different pay options you have to go through and defeats the purpose of having it, when you can just go get a free program to do all the same things.

This software works just fine. I haven't tried the latest (4.8) but I'm sure it's fine too. 4.7 unshackled my 1.1.2 just fine. I paid the registration fee. It works. Please explain to me why you think this is a waste of my time and money? I'm interested in you logic, or lack thereof.

Please, tell me which single free program will do all that this one does.

I'm waiting..................

The program was great in its early days of less functionality; in the 4.x versions, it feels like it has been trying to be the answer for everything. Historically, one-gadget-does-all has never been very popular and worse, in this case, it's a mixed-bag of free and pay-for-credits functionality.

(Plus I've never been able to get over the inability to have the home screen font rendering not look like crap.. so that makes me a bit more sour on the efforts)..

I too would like to know of any other free applications for OSX that allows you to do file management via USB. I'm pretty sure there aren't any except for Media Utils (which are commandline based and limited to certain folders).

That said, I won't be using iFuntastic because it can't see my iPod Touch. :(

Its a good program, i didn't mean to make it sound like it wasn't. Its just not for me. I am just not a fan of the "limits" on it, as far as how many unshackles you can have...etc. I don't think there is a app that will do it all for you. I just use Independence 1.3 and Cyberduck (FTP Client) and I can do all the same functions.
