According to a MacNN article, a source is claiming that AT&T stores are preparing to set up booths for the yet unreleased iPhone. The source claims that these booths would be extremely large relative to the others at three feet wide and seven feet tall. This is likely due to the profound exclusivity the iPhone carries and assures it will stand out against other phones in the stores. Also of note, it seems that the booths will be wired with Ethernet suggesting Wi-Fi capabilities will be functional in store. Likely the most interesting aspect is that, according to the source, the booths will be outfitted with their own power supplies rather than using segmented power from other sources. These changes are so significant that the stores will need to be partially rewired. It is not known if the displays will accompany the iPhone demo units prior to the launch.
