SendSong ringer issue

Has anyone noticed an issue with SendSong? When I move the music from my iPhone playlist to the ringer section I can't get the music to play when the phone rings. In the sound settings the song is set as the default music but it never sounds unless played manually from SendSong. I'm currently using version 0.21e with iPhone firmware 1.1.2.

I was also having the problem with sendsong. I was able to send a song to my ringtones. Then I went to settings, sounds, rimgtones, and there it was as a custom ringtone. I clicked the song and clicked the settings button to go back and then the home button; but when I called my iphone the ringtone was the default ringtone. So I tried resetting my iphone, i.e. cutting it off then back on and called myself again. The custom ringtone I picked worked. So there you go.:D

My iPhone is also running 1.1.2
I had no problems using it except for everytime i synced my iphone i would lose all my custom ringtones which i found very annoying. After adding just 1 song to ringtones, they would all magically appear again.

When i logged into installer this morning i was delighted hoping they had fixed it. When i tried the latest version there is no option to send to ringtones. AAARRRRHHH!!!!
I uninstalled and reverted back to the old version but now when i go to sound settings all i can see are the original tones :(
Any help? cos the original tones suck!

P.S I'm using windows, no mac avail :(

Thanks to joeythefish, i'd done everything to get ringtones to work but no sound using sendsong, until i read about turning off the phone after setting the tune. Yeahhh it works.

anyone got send song to work on 1.1.3 yet
im having issues

i had this issue. my solution.

so everytime i'd plug into my computer, all the ringers would disappear
simpy by sending one more song through send song they'd come back
but then they wouldn't work until i turned my phone off and then on again, and then they'd work fine.

I was having the same problem with itunes 7.5 and filmware 1.1.2 until I had to restored (not by choice) back to 1.1.3. After downgrading back to 1.1.2 and using Itunes 7.6 the ringtone issue was gone. I have no need to use Sendsong (now only comparable with 1.1.3). Do a Google search on how to convert ringtones with Itunes.
