A new Chinese iPhone knockoff has surfaced for sale on the internet, described on the site as "High quality copy UNLOCKED IPHONE AV-P688 SIMILAR STYPLE IPOD GSM CELL PHONE WITH MP3 MP4 FUNCTION”. A Google search yielded several sites selling the device.<!--break-->

The CECT P168 is intended to imitate the iPhone, but for US$200, it's no surprise that it falls pretty short. Where the iPhone has a simple, responsive touchscreen, the CECT P168 relies on physical buttons (so old-fashoned). On the upside, it does have seven hours of talk time or 340 hours of standby time. It also has a two megapixel camera (though some reports say only 1.3). Still, it only has 100MB of built-in memory, but supports flash card expansion. It is also unlocked, a big advantage over the iPhone.

Wow, a whole 1 mb of memory....uh...that can't be right! Could a phone OS even run with only 1 MB of memory?
