Can`t connect to iTunes

I bought my iPhone without any contract so I jailbrake it and I`m using it with T-Mobile but I can`t transfer anything with iTunes since the phone is not activated.
I thought that an AT&T prepaid would help but they said that only a 2years contract would let iTunes activate my phone.
Please help....an empty phone !

If you are using a tmobile sim ....which means it is activated.
Just need to itune setup. new profile.

Thanks for repling but I should have mentioned that I`m a windows user, and I can`t find the new profile setting in iTunes.Could you help me through the process?

If your phone is jailbroken then you should be able to connect to iTunes just by docking the phone. I myself use T-Mobile for my phones and neither of them have issues with connecting with iTunes on Windows Vista Ult. and Windows XP Pro.

Edit: Have you tried rebooting while having the phone docked? Have you tried using a different USB port on your PC/Laptop? Does the phone make that little chime when your PC boots?

hi, i also have the same problem. my iphone cant connect to itunes or you tube? it says 'you must conect to a wi fi' but i already have so not sure why it isnt working.

can anyone help?

p.s its jailbroken too and on t-mobile.
