Removing Icons from Summerboard/Springboard

How do I remove Icons from the springboard?
I heard the "summerboard and RBST" will work but I cant seem to find an option to hide or delete certain icons.

Also, How do I allow my springboard to scroll DOWN....for some reason after upgrade my firmware my springboard scrolls to the RIGHT and LEFT now for additional Icons, but I want it to Scroll down.

Ah for the first part I recommend using installer to download customize. It lets you reorder your icons, hide them and do other cool stuff. And the second part to scroll up and down? Im not sure about, mine is left to right also. Hope this helps...

That is the iphone's default, Left and Right. ;)
