Hello,
Was wondering if anyone could help me. I have an unlocked phone version 1.1.1.

I tried using itunes version 7.3 first and it told me i need version 7.4 or greater. So I uninstalled Itunes and downloaded 7.4. It then said I needed to use 7.5 or greater. So i downloaded that and when I installed it said I dont have a valid sim card in the phone.

I am using a rogers sim card in canada.

Everything else works on the phone (telephone, utube, wifi) its just Itunes doesn't let me sync the phone.

Any suggestions?

in the properties of itunes. So open itunes then go to edit. then prefernces. uncheck the automatic updates and then uncheck sync everytime my iphone is connected. see if this helps. im runn version 7.3 for itunes and i have never once had that message.also for giggles you could try unplugging your internet connection to see if you still get that message. that way youll know if your itunes is the problem always connecting to the internet.

Hello,

Thanks for your help, but this didnt seem to do anything, i had already had both those things unchecked. When i disconnected from the internet and error message came up on Itunes that said

iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store.

make sure your network connection is active and try again.

Is this normal, should I have to be connected to the internet to use Itunes?

Do your sim card recognize by iphone? My problem is my iphone doesn't detect any sim card, it's just show no sim on top of the screen. And everytimes i restarted it's just said "no sim installed". You can tried restoring again your firmware.
