View Full Version : Replacing OSX on iPhone question

I don't know if this is possible or has even be considered so far.
I was wondering if it was possible to actually replace the iPhone operating system with some other unix/linux distribution; I know OSX is a BSD based system, therefore I'm assuming hardware would be supported under linux in general.

I also would be very tempted to get an OS like OpenMoko (or some other custom unix distro) on it as opposed to having the always painful post Apple updates to deal with on OSX.

I'd be interesting to know if anyone has tried or experimented with this idea.

i even don't know how to setup a linux into mac, and you,
the infrastructure is different maybe:mad:
