TRUE Windows ONE click jailbreak/activation/unlock/youtube

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi, I dont take credit for the methods used, I re-wrote the script to perform a true and complete one click solution:

WORKS FOR iPOD Touch and iPHONE

Select either iPOD or iPHONE when asked.

jailbreak.toc2rta.com seems to be a bit flakey so there is now a mirror here:

jailbreak.rfidsecurity.com

No need to downgrade firmware from 1.1.1 to 1.0.2

Performs:

Jailbreak
Installs Installer.app (Updated to 3.0 b4)
Installs anySim.app (1.1.1)
Installs SSH
Activates
Fixes YouTube

Download the zip from here:

http://rapidshare.com/users/D4JJY7

(replace the $ with an s)

OR HERE:

http://iphone.rfidsecurity.com/oneclick.zip

Close iTunes, end iTunesHelper.exe

See included Unlock Instructions for info

UPDATE!!

Hi, ANYONE who is having the problem of patchfstab.exe crashing......

It crashes if the file it is trying to patch is 0 bytes long.

In the dos box,

You will get the following:

AMDeviceStartService 'com.apple.afc' : 0
shell: Reading Script
File Size: 314572800

NOW IMPORTANT, the VERY next line should be:

Reading 33554432 bytes, 281018368 bytes remain

If that is NOT there and there is an error, probably this one:

getfile: Failed to get the Remote File: 8
Nothing Left to Do. Exiting

Then the re-run the Safari Browser crash, it failed and didnt make the root r/w

I have tried jailbreak.toc2rta.com and it is down more than it is up at present

My Mirror jailbreak.rfidsecurity.com is online and working!!

Close the dos box, re-run the Safari carsh and you should be good to go again!!

PM me if you have any problems!

Has anyone else tried this out besides Dalep? I haven't seen a real windows one-click jailbreak anywhere else, so I'm a little skeptical.

Just curious, do I still need a Wi-Fi connection for this or is it all through the dock? My wireless router is all screwed up and we've been using a wired router for the past month or two, it's the only thing stopping me from just doing the original iPhone Dev Team jailbreak.

I have the same question.

Also, if I usually use a Mac, can I still use this method?

I'm looking for a true one-click jailbreak/activation solution for Mac, but haven't found any. I also don't want to have to downgrade the firmware then re-upgrade.

Can I use this method and then still use my iPhone on my Mac?

Somebody needs to confirm this with a video or somethin along those lines. If true this is the one we've all been looking for. WINNER

iNdependence and iFuntastic are both very simple programs to jailbreak on a Mac. Windows doesn't have anything though except hopefully this.

Would this work if im running an allready jailbroken/simfree 1.02 on orange network (uk) ?

Or would i need to virginise the baseband 1st and put 1.1 firmware on?

It works for me, but the instructions are slightly wrong.

The second time you call the emergency number it says this:

slide for emergency

Dial 0

Phone will ring

Answer call

End Call

Phone will ring

decline call

Should be:

slide for emergency

Dial 0

Phone will ring

Answer call

Press Hold

Phone will ring

decline call

Which matches the first time you ring the number, not hard to work out, but may confuse some people.

Also when it installed anysim it didn't chmod the executable to 755, which meant that when you tried to run it, it would crash and fall back to springboard.

Otherwise it worked a hell of a lot easier than downgrading etc.

Thanks!
